This is the signature ride made by Bike the Fjords, where we go right into the lovely landscape in the heart of Fjord Norway. This 8-day tour offers the unique opportunity to bicycle along the beautiful Hardangerfjorden and experience surging waterfalls, white tip mountains, glaciers beyond, and not to forget the deep blue/green colour of the Hardanger Fjord. You can also add on a day or two in Bergen to have a look at the highlights in Bergen, host of UCI Bicycling Road Race World Championship in 2017.
A bicycle ride in the dramatically beautiful landscape in Nærøyfjorden, part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List, lets you experience mountains, rivers, waterfalls and not to forget the fjords close up. This 3-day bike ride starts in Voss, runs through Stalheim to Gudvangen, we will also visit Flåm and Myrdal on our way back to Voss. It includes a ferry boat trip on the Nærøy Fjord, and of course the famous ride on the Flåmsbana Railway Line. Basically this ride is the “Norway in a nutshell” on a bicycle.
Trolltunga (“Trolls` Tongue”) is a most special mountain rock formation which has become extremely popular to visit for people from all over the world. This 10 – 12 hours hike in high mountains is both challenging and demanding, which requires that you are in physically good condition. The aim for this trip is to combine the hike to Trolltunga to a 3-days bicycle trip in Hardanger. Totally this trip lasts for 6 days
If you seek a shorter ride in beautiful surroundings we offer local guided bike trips around Voss. One of them is the ride around Lake Vangsvatnet. The 23-kilometer long ride through small farms and past rivers and waterfalls is held as a favorite among local bicyclists for a good reason. Another suggestion is to bike and watch two of the nicest waterfalls at Voss, Tvindesfossen and Skjervsfossen. Guided rides are offered in the summer, however it is also possible to rent a bike and bicycle on your own.
